loads of luck for her operation tomorrow. We have to be at the hosp by 7am as she is having her tonsils and adenoids out. SHe has to stay in one night so I am staying in with her and My mum is going to have Lesi and Alize.

aww good luck. I had mine out when i was 4, i remember being so scared and i threw up a lot afterwards.
she will be just fine though, they give you ice cream and jelly afterwards!!!

Good luck to you too Kels! You'll be in my thoughts too.

I had my tonsils out around Mercedes' age, and I remember it hurt a bit but more that it was a bit of an adventure, getting put under a general and all that. The nurses and doctors are all really nice and she can ask them any questions she wants. From my distant memory, it didn't take too long to stop hurting.
My brother in law just had his tonsils out at 26 years of age and he ate so much ice cream! Tell her to go for gold with the jelly and ice blocks and ice cream

Good luck 'Cede for tomorrow i've been there too so get all the jelly and icecream and iceblocks you can get from the hospital.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

We had tears before bed

We are making a book for her to take to school.

I have charged the camera and we are going to ake pics of every stage of the journey for her. SHe is excited about that. Im even under strict orders to get one of her after she is put under GA. I have also promised I will not leave the hosp at all.

I have books to take with me lol
