Topic: vitamin question Posted: 20 February 2006 at 12:53pm |
Last month I was taking a microgenics vitamin, and have just switched to pregnacare. Yesterday and today I have been feeling really sick. This could be a coincidence, but has anyone else experienced this?

My friend said her preggy vitamins made her feel real sick but i thought that was a bit random, I just couldnt figure out how that could be? But it sounds like you 2 are saying the same thing...who knows maybe it is the vitamins...?

I took Pregnacare during my pregnancy with Maya, and had chronic morning sickness, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't the pills. They did make my urine bright yellow tho!
I'm taking the Microgenics one atm, the lady at Health2000 said it is the best one to take, but then the last time I went they told me something different - I think it's 6 of one and half a dozen of the other iygwim.

Well I am still feeling sick, and I know there is a stomach bug going around. I have only just ovulated so it can't be morning sickness, but then I remember feeling a little sick last month around the time I ovulated so am wondering if it is that??? Really not sure, if it keeps up I might switch back to microgenics, but the vit A in that worried me a bit. If I am pregnant I can discuss with the doctor anyway

Hi Sarah Beth,
I've found at different times of my life, vitamins pills have randomly made me feel nauseous, pregnant or not. It eases a bit if you take them with a full meal, but if they're making you feel really crook, I guess you've got to weigh up the benefits of them, especially if you're already eating healthily and getting nutrients from your food.
Good luck with waiting for that next test!
