Winter is on its way....
I put the fire on for the first time this year. And now its pouring down and flooding everywhere... our shed too as drains must be blocked from rubbish or something...and rhyley is frightened of thunder ...first time he would of heard it really.

It was quite cold last month in Chch and I put my gas fire on a couple of times to warm the lounge up at night.
What I hate is how dark it is when you wake up in the morning and how dark it gets by 7:30pm! Was on my laptop the other night and seriously thought it was about 10pm but only 7:45!!!

The morning dark is killing me, it makes it seem so much earlier!
I wish it would rain properly here already instead of this muggy heat with a few pathetic specks of rain.

yep I never complain too much about the dark here as I remember the days of not seeing daylight in england only too well - the battery was always flat on our Fiat as it couldn't cope with the lights, heaters and wipers being on all the time when I drove to and from work

Its humid here too, and I'm only in Feilding not far from Becks in Palmy. We are hoping this warm weather will continue and we wont have put the heater on until May.
But we did get DVS installed last year, and ever since our house has been warm and dry.
