Topic: Sore Joints and Feet Posted: 02 April 2008 at 9:31am |
I wake up every morning with sore fingers, like my knuckles, it feels like when you have been holding onto something for a long time and your knuckles feel all stiff. They are swollen, have had to take off my rings(but I have no swelling anywhere else, just my knuckles). Also when I get up and put my feet on the ground they feel bruised underneath and I hobble around until they come right.
Anyone else have these problems aswell?

I get it with my knees and ankles - no swelling tho, just feels like i've been running and jumping around. Takes me a good hour to come right after I get up.

I got some fair trade foot lotion from lush and it is heaven. Makes my feet feel great
I am getting totally addicted to it
Keeping my feet fairly high at work and taking my shoes of straigh away when I get in seems to help a lot as well

I had the sore/stiff knuckles and wrists and its actually pregnancy induced carpal tunnel(?Spelling). Nothing you can do about it and it takes a while to go after preg as well. One thumb joint is still playing up 4 months after he was born. Not sure why you get it tho.
As for feet, don't know what that is but I had it to.

Sorry slightly OT - Peanut, is it in the joint of the thumb itself or more in your wrist? reason I ask is that I had Carpal tunnel when preggers with Ollie and once he was born developed De Quervains, which is inflammation in the thumb tendon. It kind of felt like my wrist was getting stuck. Anyway once I eventually went to the dr's he referred me onto an orthapedic surgeon who treated it with a steroid injection.
