Topic: I admit I have been.......... Posted: 05 April 2008 at 6:25pm |
LAZY! Yep lazy mum right here. I have loads of MCN's but yet he is only averaging one maybe two a week on his butt (normaly a inbetween nap before a bath or something) the rest of the time he is in sposies. Now how bad is that? DOwnright embarashing (sp?) anyway sooooo this week I didnt buy any sposies and today they have run out, so here I go, he is in his first cloth of the weekend.
I am aiming for Alize to be a fulltime cloth bubba until we go to dunedin in 2 weeks time so wish me luck in my quest to get back to a cloth mama.
Ooo I also have mumma pads from foxybots coming too so I cant wait, we will both be cloth bots together lol.
Anyone else up for the challenge?
I will let you know my progress, wish me LUCK!!
Edited for shocking spelling

Yep i'm with you Kels. Jsh has been in a Huggies at night and I was not liking it so tonight I got a night nappy ready for him and put it on him for the night. During the day i'm only using MCN's thou.

Ooo yes that is in line for tomorrow hehehe. He looked so cute cruising in his cloths today. Why did I forget about how much I heart cloth.
Debs I also have a few large knitted nap covers like Eden's ones so will be making good use of them too lol

Yep I will join in too. Isla has been in sposies fulltime for last 2 months,..after being in cloth full time since she was 5 weeks old (except the few times we have been away and stayed in motel).
We only have a week tho til we going to Auck, and are gonna use sposies there unless Emma wants to wash a third toddlers naps! Lol!

Ok, I have to admit.... for the last week I have been using sposies over night too... on both kids. Only cloth during the day though. (trying to make myself feel better!)

Good on you girls. It is hard to break that habit of sposies once you get back into them isn't it.
We were using them a few weeks ago when Sam had her tummy bug, supposedly to make things easier. I then figured out that cloth nappies hold poo explosions way, way better than stupid sposies! I will never make that mistake again, ugh the poor carpet

no offence meant here.... but what do you guys find harder about using cloth at night? For us it's just 1 extra insert, sometimes 2. I just don't see what the difference is.
oh... and GOOD LUCK

Sposies here at night I'm afraid! Just because in the morning I can't smell them much but with cloth Josh's room stinks in the morning and my pregnancy nose can't handle it!

Kellz - Isla can use the gremlins naps, I don't mind, they have plenty!
I took the plunge and ordered some soakers, now just to get fitteds to go with them.
I suspect Sienna will be in sposies this week tho, her rash has spread down to her knees on both sides and up her belly and I think it's going to need antibiotic cream.

Ekk that doesnt sound good Emma. Poor Sienna. I hope her butt heals soon.
The only thing I will never use is cloth at night. I have tired too many times and he wets thru everything so now he has a sposie and a pocket with a trifold hemp and microfibre insert. That has been my combo for months and it works wonders lol
