Well, ity seems lots of us are crafty girls so thought we could post our ideas about craft projects...although I'll admiot most of mine are half-comlpeted in the closet.

have a couple of cool things that I stole from Little treasures. When we lived in japan, I assigned each friend or family member a letter of the alphabet to draw. Jake has a neat alphabet frieze now, made by all the members of our family!

I'm also planning on writing him a book, filled with stories of his family. Like how my father lost his front teeth (biking through a swamp for a compettiion with his brothers when he wasw 15).

another idea i have, but not sure if I'll actually do it, is to make sets of cards with photos of family. Like memory.

When Jake was first born I cut out interesting pictuers from the magazines and stuck them in a cheap photo albulm. He LOVES looking at it. I also made him a small photo album of his family to loko at and he loves that too. He loevs looking at pics of himself.

So any other ideas that I can start, and then not finish??

I have been making lots of stuff lately - cards, garden tiles and pumice thingys for in the garden as well. Have put together hannahs photo album and going to make her a thing for on her bedroom door with her name.

Like the idea about a family photo album for hannah, might do that...

Haha this topic made me laugh, I always start things and never finish them.. I bought a book thinking I would try scrapbooking.. haven't done anything yet

I like the picture album thing though, my friend has done that and I keep meaning too.. hmm..

One thing I've done is to stick all of Ella's birth cards in a scrapbook, and her first birthday ones too.. my mum did it for me and it was cool looking back at all the cards from different birthdays. on some of them she wrote the presents I got from different people too.

I'll try and think of some more ideas

When I was pregnant, I wrote a diary to my baby.  I wrote down everything (especially about her dad, as he made it pretty clear he wanted out), how I was feeling, the first kick, movements I felt etc.  When the year was up, I enjoyed it so much, that I still write a diary to Jay!!  I'll probably give it to her when she is old enough to understand everything in them!!
