    Posted: 27 February 2006 at 12:20pm
I am 10 1/2 weeks pregnant and over the last few days I have noticed some light bleeding. I have had no pain at all but I am just wondering if this is normal for some people? Thanks

I never bled but heaps of women do, apparently really common. May want to check with your m/w tho if you are worried

Agreed, apparently normal but if it was me I would still have it checked out just to be on the safe side.

I had a little light bleeding around the same time with Jayden and he is now 4 so try not to worry to much. I insisted I have an ultrasound and my doctor agreed so that made me feel a lot better. Go to your doc see what they say and maybe ask for an ultrasound, at least it would put your mind at rest.

I bled - enough that I stopped telling my midwife, cause she'd want another scan that would show nothing wrong... my GP told me that 25% of women bleed during pregnancy. Its fairly common, and could be caused by a number of things - such as a hormone deficiency (as we suspect for me) or the placenta shifting slightly.

I think I mentioned it several times before but here it is again....I had light bleeding at 8 weeks and then again at 10 weeks. I had major bleeding at 18 weeks (with no pain) and My bub is fine!!! Dont panic. The only time you should get concerned is when you bleed with Pain.

not everyone is the same - any bleeding while pregnant you should at least talk to your midwife.

I had some bleeding around 7 weeks but scan showed everything ok. Still best to chat with your midwife and even have a scan to put your mind at rest. I know how scary it is

Everything is probably fine, but checking with your doc/midwife will help reassure you.
