Did'nt think I would be back here so soon. Baby number one is just on 8 months and baby number two is on the way, very very excited. I want some reccomendations on midwives in the central/west Auckland areas. Unfortunately with my first pregnancy we had a midwife from hell, so I am keen to avoid a reply the 2nd time around. I'm using Kirsten (just come over from UK) and Helen (student)from Maternity Matters in Henderson. They have both been fantastic so far

Kirsten is also my midwife (although I'll be meeting her for the first time today). I met Helen for my first appointment and she was really nice. Both are from Maternity Matters in Henderson.

i can't reccomend my first midwife, luise brandt from midwive's collective in central auckland enough. she is wonderful!

I'm using the same midwife I had with Maya, she's at Eastern Suburbs midwives in Glen Innes, and I am in Avondale, so a bit of a hike but def worth it!
