Topic: Af after baby Posted: 19 April 2008 at 5:43pm |
I am useless at searching so i apologise if there is already a thread about this..
Before i was pregnant i had no period pain(well a tiny bit when i was younger) no nothing..a little bit moody and my OCD would get a wee bit worse but nothing major..
now I've had two since Ethan and two days ago i had what i thought was a stomach bug but i just had to rush to the loo and stay there for a while once.. then pains like the beginning of labour yesterday and then today heavy period..(pain gone) is that normal..thought they supposed to get better not worse?:(

Mine have only just started back, and htey have been heavy, painful and my PMS is making me psychotic... It pays to remember that you haven't had an af for over a year now, so it will be alot heavier and more painful for the first few cycles while your body gets back to normal, then it should be better than before. That was my experience last time, anyhow! Good luck and hugs cos it sucks!!
And, bythe way, it was great meeting you last weekend, and your gorgy wee man!

My first period was a breeze and very light, the 2nd was heavy, then since then they have been very normal since. No bad pain or anything.
That's just what happened to me - I might just be lucky

I had light but kinda weird ones after #1 and #2. After my m/c (after #2) I had a horrible crampy one and after #3 I had horrible cramps again.. which now seems to be endometriosis.
Maybe give it another month and monitor if it seems to be getting better or worse each month?

TOTALLY TMI TMI TMI
Mine have been so heavy (only had 2 thus far) that I have gone thru a super tampon AND pad in an hour or less for 2 days, then every 2, 2.5 hours for another 2 days then all gone. hate planning my day around the loo and potential clothing changes, lol

As I recall my first one was a little heavier then they went back to normal, around the same time I switched to the my mooncup and cloth pads and they got lighter.

My first was really light and only lasted 2 days, but the 2nd was horrible and the pain was horrendous like strong Braxton Hicks for 2 weeks leading upto it
Hopefully the next one wont be so bad..
