I have just been to the funeral of a lovely old lady who was mine and DHs wedding celebrant and one of my mums friends and very well known in this town now the sweet but sad thing is that it was also her husbands funeral! She died in hospital HALF AN HOUR! before her husband died in their rest home!!!! he hadnt even been told of her passing when he just drifted off!! how sweet for them to still be together as they were married for 62 years!!! may they rest in peace

That is really sweet and sad at the same time.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Aww, that is really lovely! Sad for their families and friends to lose them both at once but so sweet that neither of them has to grieve for the other.

i wonder if she went to him after she passed and asked him to go with her? nice that they are together again

my grandad knew my nana had passed before we'd told him. he said she'd come to see him (5mins after she died) and kissed him goodbye

Awww that is so sweet and heart warming. I am glad they are together as it would have been cruel for one to be left behind. Wow 62 years marriage and even death could keep them apart. A truely amazing story!
