Topic: Grrrr Portrait Place Posted: 10 May 2008 at 7:57pm |
I am soo angry at Portrait Place in Palmerston North we were meant to get photos taken of our 3 children today at 11.ooam so got the about 10 to 11 decided to have a drink at the cafe then I went and filled out the forms only to be told that they are running a LITTLE late (didn't mind as they run on baby time) so we decided to go have a look around farmers then I went back at 11.30 5 minutes later hubby came with our boys one of whom was rather tired at this stage so I went and asked them how much longer, they told me about another 10 or 15 plus minutes so I told them not to worry and left we were so grumpy and not happy waiting about 45 minutes after our appointment they could of at least phoned us to say they were running a little bit late and so come in about 11.10 or so...

Yep I hate them too now after what they did with Josh's last photo.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Aw, they done good with us (but then again, we did wait nearly an hour for our photo too, but spent the time having coffee, and I did only take home my "freebie", cause Ella was so over it that she started crying after 3 photos, leaving me with 2 of the same family poses to chose from, and 2 shots of Ella - one smiling, the other crying!!). OK come to think of it it was a fluke that our 'freebie' one rocked! But hey, I'm down with that.

he he, that's like the ones we just got done, ayja does this waaaay cheesy weird gritted teeth smile, she'd be all cute while the lady counted 1...2.... then on 3 (when the pic would be taken) she'd arch her head back and do that smile.... the single one we got of her we aren't that happy with her expression, but decided to get it, simply because we were getting the single pose of Paris which rocked.
The original free one apparently was out of focus a little (didn't get to see it totally, she just kinda flashed it up at us) so they printed the one i have in the pic gallery instead.. but i loooved the original pose so when i go back i'm gonna see if we have a proper look at the other pose and might get it .. from what i saw it didn't look that out of focus..
