Ok, so have decided to give this another try. I bought some a few months ago, but had only just come off the pill so don't think they were very accurate!

Just wondering which ones you use and where you get them from. I think I got my last ones from baby4u, via tm, but can't rightly remember now.

So have you used them, and what was your experience?
Thanks :)

I got a pack from Saveontests.com they sent them out within the week and I got about 14 OPK's and 5 HPT's. It was great price.

i got mine from my local chemist - cant remember the brand sorry. They were more accurate than the saliva microscopes - well thats my opinion anyway.

Good luck

I have an OPK question too (thought I may as well ask it here instead of starting a new topic with the same title!!) - this is my first cycle using them.

I know that the test line has to be "as dark as or darker than" the control line. BUT if the test line is light, does that mean you are getting closer to ovulation and it should be dark in the next day or two?
Yesterday and the day before I had no test line at all, but today there is a light line! So am I getting close to ovulation, or does a light line not mean anything at all? I hope someone knows what I'm rambling about

Yeah it's a tricky one. Some people get a definite fade in and fade out before and after ovulation where your OPKs get darker each day until ovulation then lighter afterwards. However, the line definitely needs to be as dark as the control to show that ovulation has occurred.

Some people will take OPKs 2-3 times a day around the time they ovulate so they don't miss the "surge".

HTH!!!

I just bit the bullet as my chart is all over the place and ordered 3 months worth from the Baby4you on trade me. It worked out cheaper than buying from them direct $23 including postage
