My DH is acting strange. He is suddenly bringing me breakfast in bed every morning, feeding my toddler breakfast etc before he goes to work. He is putting a hotwater bottle in my bed every night, doing dishes volunteerily, looking after toddler after he gets home from work, and helps now with the housework. Most of all he is asking what he can do to help and takes over tasks so that I can sit on the couch.

This is so out of character for him....Im beginning to wonder whats going on. He never did this for my previous pregnancy and so this is so unusual. Im not complaining at all - but Im stumped as to why the sudden change. And Im loving it.......

Willie has his moments like that when I'm pregnant, he usually has his head in the sand but every now and then he surprises me, like the other night when Maya came in and wanted tucking in for the tenth time and he said "no, go back to bed, it's too hard for mummy to keep getting up every five minutes" when usually he'd just let me go and do it.

what a good DH you have!
Mine has started to make a bit more of an effort since I bought him the book 'Pregnancy Sucks - For Men'. It has lots of things in there to help make men's lives easier while their partner is pregnant - I think it opened his eyes to a few things!

Invasion of the body snatchers? Maybe letting our DH's be replaced by alien clones isn't such a bad thing

My DH has been amazing with this pregnancy. He has always been ver helpful around the house but now he is just doing it all.

He was very different when I was pregnant with my first....but I think it is becuase he has seen me go thru labour and all the hardship...so he is more in tuned with it all. May be

Maybe thats what it is. He did tell me that he felt sorry for me having to carry two babies at once. Im going to milk this for all its worth while I have the chance....not that I have any choice anyway but to accept his help. Its just a big shock to the system!
