Topic: Condoms Posted: 09 March 2006 at 12:45pm |
Very personal question and i was wondering about it the other night. I know that it is safe to have sex while pregnant but should you still use a condom?? Or is it okay not to? Personal question but i want to know.

That is of course assuming you are in a relationship.... if not, then definitely condoms. You can still catch the diseases - you're just already knocked up

Linelle - that's what your mucus plug is for :) It plugs your cervix to stop anything that could harm the baby from entering the uterus, and prevents the amniotic fluid from leaking.

well here's another "stupid question" same topic....
I heard that sex can bring on labour at the later stages of pregnancy as the sperm can soften the cervix. What stops that from happening at any other time during the pregnancy?
Yours sincerely
Mrs blonde and pregnant of Auckland

Mrs Blonde and Pregnant of Auckland ( ) the sperm only works that way if your cervix has softened ready to go to start with. Basically, your body knows when it wants to have bubs and whilst you can give ita little help along, for the most part bubs will come on his or her own schedule.
