am hoping this sounds familiar to some people.

Taine and Jake both get bleeding noses, especially when hot, but recently Taine has got more.
And I realise it probably is "assisted", but it gushes...so it drips and not just drips, but leaves a trail.
Please tell me someone else has a kids like this.
(P.S Have just read My Sister's Keeper for school, so slightly paranoid)

I still get bleeding noses constantly.

Until I was 10 I used to wake up with my pillow soaked in blood every morning then I had a tonsilectomy and while I was under general they did something to my nose too and I was fine for years until about 6 years ago.

I don't gush with blood like I used to but I often have a bleeding nose and it's worse in warm weather when the pollen count is high. I spoke to the doc about it and she said that they can have in cauterized (sp?) if I want - um no thanks.

I had mine cauterized(sp?) as a teenager when I had my tonsillis out. I would have it done when I was awake thou.

I think a trip to the dr night be a good idea.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Paige is a nose bleeder....Happens in night.....when hot or sometimes for no reason. Happened on a plane trip back from Auck which was really bumpy not so long ago. She got off and walked over the tarmac and I just about died..Little white face with all this blood everywhere!

My Doc said to rub vaseline in her nostrils...WHICH she hates but it seems to work...

She also gets hayfever/Rhinitis and Asthma and think a lot of it is related.....Def getting less and less as she gets older.

Her Dad had them when he was younger.

My brother was like that and was cauterized a few times in his childhood before it finally stopped.

My two older girls have them heaps, again mostly when hot or stressed but sometimes they jsut come on randomly while watching TV. They both get the ones that look like it's just pooring out too. Natasha's are the best if she holds her nose too tight the blood come out of her tear ducts
We've been to the Dr about that but she said It's pretty normal as it's all connected and backs up, so she should let it flow out.

(I'd hate to see what CSI would make of my house..probably think there had been a murder commited)
