Topic: Yay finally Posted: 03 June 2008 at 6:12pm |
After so many times of trial and error I have finally sorted Josh's night nappy out with no wet bed!!!!
He wears a Foxybot stuffed with 7 layers of hemp and 3 layers of microfibre. His nappy is slighty wet when he gets up but he wears a pair of longies overtop so is dry!!! I am so happy. So we have been now 2 weeks fully cloth at home, as when he is at the in-laws she uses sposies on him (she buys them).

That's great news Becks! I love it when you find your own solution to a cloth nappy problem. I know I was stoked when I got Leo's night nappy sorted. Now I never worry about overnight leaking (not that it ever bothered Leo ).

7 layers of hemp is nothing we had 21 at Daniels worst! haha
I'm trying to come up with a better night nappy option. But I have too much to do to do anything more than ponder on it.

I think the most we have had is 15 layers, and that was huge!!

I am restricting his fluid intake after dinner so that might be helping as well.
I have had a few thoughts about night time nappies - I will have a chat to you about it after Daniels party.

I reckon if you could do something like the DB fitted, with snap-in hemp & bamboo, but with a waterproof outer it would be really popular as a night nappy!
