Topic: woohooo there is something they can do Posted: 04 June 2008 at 7:42pm |
WWWWWHHHHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
The specialist was fantastic...he took all my history, went through my notes with me...explained a few things to me and then said...."I can help you"
Never have four little words ment so much....I just about lost it....he even offered me some tissues...the sweet man.
So the upshot is, that I have to repeat a couple of blood tests as im border line for ANA "something or rather..lol"
Bascially this thing causes hypertension, IUGR and recurrent miscarriages...(which i have had all off), and its something to do with particular antibodies and the placenta...
So in 2 wks we will have the blood test results back, and we go back to see him, and make a plan of attack.
The other great news is, that we wont have to pay to go privately as he will look after me for the first 9-12wks AND he runs the high risk clinic at wellington hospital and has told me he will look after me their.
Woohooo we are getting answers and are moving forward, we are really excited
