Topic: IT help needed Posted: 11 June 2008 at 6:49pm |
OK IT gurus I'm hoping someone can help me with an extremely important issue. I can't log in to OB from my laptop
I can get into the site fine but when I put in my email address and password nothing happens, it just thinks about it for awhile and then redirects me to the login page.
I have no trouble logging in from my work computer and home pc, it's just the laptop that has issues (and I really want to be able to login from my laptop as it's friggin cold in the spare room where my pc is).
I'm guessing it has something to do with the computer settings but really don't have a clue what to look for. Can anyone help?

Do you have norton or any anti virus programmes on the lappy?
Could be possible that it's blocked this site....
Other than that, I'm not sure??

Are you running internet explorer or firefox? Do you have "scripts"?

I have McAfee anti virus software and had wondered if that was causing issues but I can access the site, read all the articles and forum topics. I just can't login in to post.
I'm running internet explorer. No idea about scripts, how do I check?

My first move would be to change browsers - Cause I'm lazy and my geek is away at aikido atm, and OhBaby is all so important!
PS: ie sucks anyway, go firefox or opera, might take you a couple of days to get used to it, but they are alot faster, you'll never look back!

I second firefox. Do you have a "command centre" for your virus thing? I know Norton does and you can see whats blocked and what isn't, and change the settings.

I'm with Emma and Pepsi - clear your cache. Google (or IE Help) deleting temporary internet files/cookies...should bring something up. Or go Firefox/Mozilla - it is better...
