So one minute it's telling me the site has been hacked and next I can get in and now it's another strange screen when you go to http://www.photobucket.com

God I hope my photo's are safe.

Okay rubbish that, now it's working for me again.

Did anyone else try to visit the site when it was doing that?

Yep! And it's still doing it for me. If you google photobucket, it'll bring up an article about it (at the end of the first page of the search). I thought our computer was hacked!!!! I started panicking about online banking etc etc, but apparently it poses no risk to any details stored on your computer.

It's annoying though because I couldn't see any pics here in the picture gallery! I can see them now, but I still get that 'hacker' page on the photobucket link.

DH loaded up Firefox and it seems to work ok on that.

You probably need to delete your cookies. Your computer remember previously loaded pages so that even if photobucket is fixed your computer will still load the crappy page. I had to do it to get Oh!baby to work when they updated their site.
But I hate photobucket anyway since they stopped supporting my Mac
