Yeah I had to go to the supermarket to get some bread so grabbed a test while I was there. BFN but then had the weird there but not there line on it. It wasn't like... really pink. Just a hue there so total evap

Unsure whats going on, AF shouldn't be this late and without a BFP as well.

I had a really dark evap line on Tuesday last week with FMU?? Or wednesday cant remember so waited till Thursday tested in the middle of the day after lunch and two small bottles of diet coke DUHHH lol BFN so tested this morning (wasn't FMU) and I had three bottles of water through the night and got the EVAP again.

I will still test Thursday again if AF isn't here by then. Its just really weird

I have not really used the First response ones but I really like the quickcards as they are pretty straight forward. On Sunday I order some internet cheapies and not really sure if they are any good or how soon you can test.

Hope you get a BFP soon.

first response?? are they the countdown ones????

if so I NEVER had an evap with them... the 2 i thought were evaps... were BFP!!!!!

You could only see them if you held the stick at a certain light (DH couldnt see it at all) and there was barely any colour.

Personally, if I were you... I would splurge on one of the good ones! I used one of those and the test line came up before the pee had even got to the control line. Your about 16DPO now right? Next time you go into to town Jess

Sounds like you might be watering down your pee and what you are actually seeing just MIGHT be a positive test result (don't take my word for it though!)

I only ever used Clear Blue myself. I got a funky result off that too when I was 20DPO. I only got a vertical line rather than a cross, but that's all I needed to confirm Miss Caitlin was on her way

Yup the dipsticks are the ones I am having troubles with.

The reason I use FR instead of clearblue is because when I was preg with Neosha I did two a FR and Clearblue. The FR gave me a faint positive after the time allocation and the clearblue gave me a negative lol I was about a week late at this point. I have a discover one arriving tomorrow so will give that a go but I drink heaps and heaps during the day so I will probably use the next FMU which will be Wednesday morning just so I know FOR SURE.

Mel First response are in like a blu and white box I think and you can get 1 or 3 packs and they are really cheap. They are dipsticks I guess they would be at countdown lol. The measure at 25 clearblue measures at 50. Hmmm your posiive sounds like the evap I got today, I call it a evap because it doesnt deserve to be called a line Would be a really nice surprise if it was a faint positive. Ahh well we will know Wednesday anyway.

To make things worse I now have a stomache bug im so not having a good day

I found the Clearblue's sucky with this baby too, got a faint, faint line when AF was two days late, yet did a FR midstream the same day and got a clear as line straight away.

yup, than its first response that i used, the dipstick.

I think the main thing is to not read it after the 10 mins is up. With my first VFP it was at 10 mins that you could vaguely see the line and then the next one 2 days later it was about 5 mins and you could see.

Fingers crossed for you hun! All kinds of babydust going your way.

I really think that evap lines are fairly unusual and the fact that you are getting them repeatedly is a sign that they are really just faint BFPs. At least thats what happened to me. The Discover test should clear things up.

Good luck
