I think she is guilty too and deserves everything she gets.....JMO
I saw it on the msn page and it got me thinking who think she is innocent and who thinks she is guilty.

Are you talking about the drug running or her being admitted to hospital for depression etc?
I believe that she was just a chick in the wrong place at the wrong time, and that the court system over there were showing her up as an example to other drug runners.
I mean who would be so stupid as to put so much dope in to her surfing stuff? She could have been set up by her brother or the people at Sydney Airport.
She's in for a rough ride and I really feel sorry for her, she's going to spend her whole life in a grotty prison.
I think it's sad that shes now in hospital, sick with depression and whatever else is going on with her. Must be tough losing a father and step father so close together.
I'm annoyed that Australia didn't do more for her.

I think she is guilty but shouldn't have been locked up for that long. It was 'only' a little bit of marjuana, surely theres much worse stuff people have done.....

The Aussie govt think she is guilty too hence why she is still there. She lied in court she never even knew of any drug dealers in Bali or OZ then hlf way thru the trial a photo came out of her and one of Oz notorious Drug dealers standing together arm and arm. i really think that is why they havent stepped up.
I totally agree about the media circus too, very trashy

I think she's guilty, but playing the innocent and naive card.
I do believe things like being "set-up" can happen, but I reckon she knew it was there and she thought she *might* get away with it, by playing the card she has.
I would hate to imagine what she is going through though for such a small amount of weed.

Guilty. And the only reason we hear about her and not the others is because she is the supposed picture of innocence/being set-up, is female, and is attractive (apparently). The family look like a really classy bunch too *somehow thinks how to portray sarcasm online  *

I'm on the fence coz I don't believe she is as innocent as she makes out, but then I know how shoddy the airport security systems were at the time so I can see how it could have happened.
But I think if she is innocent she is incredibly naive, stupid even, to have let herself get into that situation, and if she is guilty she's equally as stupid!
