Topic: Tefal Kids Kitchens - Great Price! Posted: 02 July 2008 at 12:30pm |
My friends kids have one of these and it is a hit with all the kids when they go to play. They are usually $100 and are on special for $69.95 in the K-Mart sale this week.
But...stop the press....the Warehouse has them right now for $45!!!!! A total bargain. Needless to say we now have one tucked in the cupboard for Elle's second b'day.
Just thought i'd mention it incase someone else is looking for one as they can be hard to get. The appliances you can get to go with them are fab too (e.g. a coffee perculator that actually perculates water!)

I got that one 2 weeks ago from KMart for $39.95!!! I was told that the sale KMart had 2 weeks ago was going to be a little better for some things than the actual toy sale.

$45 is a great price! I just looked at the warehouse and kmart catalogues online. Is it exactly the same kitchen? they look different?

Hmmm, you are right Mummy2three. My friends just told me about it and picked one for me so I hadn't seen the pictures. They do look a little different...

I think the one at Warehouse is much nicer though and has more features.
We picked up the last one at the store we went to. So I am stoked. Will keep it in storage for his 2nd or 3rd Birthday ...it says 3+ on the box.

I got one for Josh for xmas and when I told people tha tI got one for Josh they were like and what does his father think of that?? . His father is totally fine with him getting that as NIgel loves to cook and I am going to have a Gordon Ramsay in the making NOT Jamie Oliver like people keep telling me.

Kiwi mummy - Phone them and get them to hold one. I am off to The Warehouse now to get mine as they are only holding it for me till 6pm. THE LAST ONE!! and I think there are only 400 in the country!
I compared the two tefal ones and I think the Warehouse one is better (and cheaper )...and Kmart refused to hold one for me and told me to come back at 12am tonight...huh.....like I would! and he only had 6.
Any who! Yay I am excited!

From looking at the catalogue, they are quite different and I think I can see why the one from KMart costs more.
The one at the Warehouse is listed as a mini-kitchen, and the picture of the child shows they have to kneel in front of the kitchen (so it's not toddler standing height)..whereas the KMart one looks like a standing sized one..

The Tefal ones from the warehouse are really quite small - which is great for us with a small house
Its definately only a sitting down toy about 30cm high. But still big enough for kids to have fun with. It makes cool cooking sounds and lights up too.
