Just wondering for those with under 1's, what time of night did you give your last feed of solids?

Also, do you just let them eat and eat, or do you stop when you think they have had enough?
I fed my boy a large bowl of fruit/farax mix (like about 6 ice cube bits and a couple of tablespoons of farax), then he was still opening his mouth for more, so I gave him some banana, which he ate half of!

TIA

I always let Lauren guide me on how much she wants for dinner. Sometimes she will just eat and eat and eat so I just keep offering, other times she will be satisfied on a bowl of meat and vege. I can generally sense if she is looking for more food.

Lauren has her dinner abetween 4:30 -and 5pm.

DS's last meal is at 5-5.30pm with a bottle at 6.30-7pm.

I have had the "will he stop" discussion a lot over the last few days and I stop feeding him. He has his set amounts and that is it - I have introduced a morning and afternoon tea instead and will increase it as he may need it.

Will be keeping my eye on this thread!

Eva starts her dinner at 5.45pm. We keep offering food until she refuses it.

Farex fills babies up way more than fruit, so you might want to increase the amount of farex you offer and reduce the fruit (something I was told to do). For example, I usually offer Eva 5 Tbsp of farex and 2cubes of fruit for brekkie + toast and that fills her up. She also has a smaller amount for dessert in the evening.

Keziah normally has dinner between 5 & 5.30 with her last bottle being at 6.15ish

She's usually happy after her meat and vege, but yesterday she had that AND half a banana before she was satisfied..

Hannah has solids at 5:30pm (will give her as much as she'll eat - she's good at letting me know when she's had enough) and then a breastfeed at 7:20pm before bed at 7:30pm.

Do you think the time of night that they have their last solids effects them sleeping through or not?

Not sure about that one JD.

Jack usually has his dinner at 5.30pm, bottle at 6.30pm and then if I think he's still hungry, he will have dessert afterwards, then bed at 7ish. Having said that today he has had a total of 3-4 teaspoons of food in 3 meals. His new tooth must be causing him some massive issues poor wee mite.

I had one experience where I over fed A and she vomited all over herself and her bed an hour after going down, so I think there is a limit to how much they can eat before bed.

A's dinner time is anywhere between 4.30 and 6 depending on how the day has gone
