It is a sad day today....the carer at Ellas DC is leaving...this is the lady who ADORES Ella and Ella was her baby from the minute she started at DC at 5.5 months old....Ella is her bubba at DC - they all know that. She was freaking out that Ella is going into the tots room in sept and wasnt sure how she (the carer) would cope....well she went and quit! Yep going to another DC....

Ella missed her so much over Xmas when the carer had to rush back overseas to her dying mum...and there was a HUGE change when she returned....

Dont get me wrong - Ella loves the other carers, and they treat her so unbelievably well too....but Charlie is her away from home mum five days a week.....I SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hoep that Ella will cope with this separation...Ive asked Charlie to stay in touch and she wants to but its not the same as seeing her each day.

Today ive sent Ella to DC with a present for Charlie - a gorgeous framed photo and Ella is beautifully dressed in a princess fairy dress specially for Charlie....I know she will take photos today!

but I feel bad that Ella is losing someone special to her.....

Awww...I am sure Ela will be fine!
She is such a little cutie that any teacher would fall in love her so its not a surprise at all.

Z is like that too....she loves one teacher above all the others and is sooo much happier when she greets Z at the Door but Wed is a sad day as she is away at Tech!!

Big hugs to Ella!

Awww Andrew knows how she feels as about the same age Andrew's carer left to go onto a different job. He was lucky and at the time transitioned to the next room so got a new carer there and I wouldn't let him leave there till she went on maternity leave and the end of 2006.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Awww that is sad. Alize has a carer like thats at his DC and he would be devastated too if she left. Im sure Ella will be fine and esp since she is older be more able to cope with the lose of her fave carer

Wow I cant believe she is going to big kids side so early. Alize doesnt start there till 2.5yrs. I gues different DC have different time frames.

Best of luck for Monday girl
