Topic: HI5 are coming!! Posted: 05 August 2008 at 9:30pm |
i'm gutted though because they are coming here end of sept/ early october and we go away for 10days at the end of october so there's no way i can afford to take either of the kids
i took jack last time they came and he loved it, but really wanted to take charli this time because she loves them!!
oh well.....there's only 2 original members left now, not sure what the new people are like. sun was here last time instead of kathleen and she was ok

i got that too. bit miffed at the $10 pre-sale charge though. at $42 for a decent seat, that makes it ridiculous.

it makes it ridiculous anyway - sheesh last time it was $25 a ticket - this time nearly double!!
I hope the girls don't see it because we really just can't afford it this year at that price - expecially so close to the wedding.

How long is the show usually? I'd love to take my little girl but she's only 2.5 -- not sure how long she could make it for. Is it quite a long time to need to be focused? Or are all the kids standing up and shrieking (general mayhem)?

EH? when did Tim & Charli leave? That's sad, I didn't realise they'd gone too, and I thought Kathleen had come back. The shows on t.v. show all 5 original members (they're probably repeats).

yeah i think it's abit off charging so much....especially charging an extra $10 in a presale, that's not usual!
katherine, jack was about 2.5yrs when we went and he just sat there watching, then half way through he got up and danced in the aisles with the other kids
apparently tim left after he had a motorbike accident and charli left recently because she wanted to do other things
i'd love the wiggles to come here...charli loves them more!!!

Gosh I knew TIm left after his motorcycle crash...didn't know Charlie had left!
And yeah....$42 is a bit steep to justify taking Maddie along...shame, she really likes Hi-5.

I took Z to see them 3 times (yep he was a fan!!) when he was 2, 3 and 4 they came to Napier 3 years in a row and it was great! Cant believe the ticket prices have gone up so much though, thats a shocker!! Probably wouldnt go now though that everyone has left, we would LOVE to see the wiggles though, last time they came Z was a bit old for them, but Leo my 2 year old is a wiggly addict!

Cool, we are going to go Waiting til Saturday to buy tickets though as $32.50 sounds a bit more reasonable. Have even conned my friend to go and buy the tickets for us lol! Ash will LOVE it, she is a huge fan, and I'm pretty sure she won't even notice that there are only 2 of the originals left

The boss and I are taking our rugrats -- and husbands. We decided to spring for the pricey tickets as we've never been before and we wanted to have good seats. Now, I should probably learn some Hi-5 songs so that I don't feel silly sitting there while everyone else is singing and dancing around! DH is somewhat less than thrilled...
