we got two a few weeks back in sale at HN BUT they wont play some dvds that arent for this zone...any ideas - we have gone to one site that is a hackers type site JB Hifi suggested but cannot find an override function....

they are panasonic 160gb HD recorders....help anyone????

OK one for us upstairs and one for mum....heck they put out the wrong advert and i called them on it and demanded they sell them to us at that price advertised in store...they were $199!!!! was NOT passing them up at that price....

and OMG i love it...no more tapes lying around....soooo cool! but they wont play the barney dvds!!!! argh!!!! Im over love to sing...and she wont watch anything else....

Try googling the make and model number with 'convert to all regions' or something like that.

I did that once to override a Phillips one and loads of geek forum sites came up with the codes.
