Topic: What kind of buggy?? Posted: 27 August 2008 at 9:43am |
Do YOU have??
We had been putting money aside for the Phil & Teds VIBE but now that we are postponing having another bub we won't need a double.
I like the look of the Bertini Lifestyle and I like how flat the MB folds but was wondering what everyone else has just cause im nosy hehe
ATM we have the European version of the Steelcraft Strider ironically the brand is "o baby" lol but I won't be keeping it much longer.

We have a Steelcraft Strider 3. We've found it suits our needs really well. I particularly like how it can be turned around so baby can face you when they're little. The basket underneath is a good size too.
Good luck in your decision - it's not easy that's for sure

Oh I like that one Sally belly.
We have a mothers choice layback stroller. It did the job but I won't be using it next time and I won't be getting one like it either. I'd really like one with a basinette or that can be rear facing plus it needs to have a toddler step.

Yup we have the same with the 4 wheels but now that Neosha is 15 months she seems too long and her legs rest on the bottom metal part so it gives me an excuse for a new one lol but I loved that they could face you
I would like one that could have a bassinet, take a capsule then have the seat added later and could be rearward facing... the only one I have seen is Bertini lifestyle but shesh its expensive.

The Mountain Buggy can do bassinette and capsule, can't do rearward facing though.

We have a Maclaren MX3 - it's a great pram except the basket isn't big enough really. We also had issues with ours and had to battle with the suppliers to get it sorted.

We have the bertini marine, only got it because it was cheap, looked good, tons of storage pockets and I scored it for 50% off and it's really good and will last us ages yet

We almost bought the marine! We got the moonlight instead but then it was too big and heavy and we sold it... I always wondered if we should have gotten the marine instead......

I don't find it heavy, even when I had a stuffed back I was still easily able to lift it in and out of the car at the chiros. I think Daniel is heavier than the pram now lol

Another Mountain Buggy Elite owner! I have no problems with it and loved using the bassinet when LO was teeny. I liked having a 'pram' and also being able to see him all the time. It was great to help to settle him as I could lie on the couch and the push the pram to get him to sleep. I went into mourning when he was too big to use the bassinet anymore.
One thing to consider : when the bassinet is attached it is quite bulky when folded down. No problem if you have a big car but we have a Mitsubishi Lancer with a fairly small boot.

We have the Double Mountain Buggy Elite and love it.
We had the double bassinet for the first few months. Same as what others said it was nice to be able to see them all the time.

I've got a Phil and Teds, it's great with having two of them but wouldn't be my first choice if I only had one baby.
I was thinking tho, you said you wanted a bassinette, capsule and rearward facing, but when you use the bassinette/capsule with the MB they are both rearward facing so you wouldn't need the actual seat itself to face backwards would you?

Yeah I know im just fussy lol I often sit Neosha facing me even now so it's a handy feature for the seat to rearward face especially now that she won't tolarate a sun shade being on.
Anyway I liked the PLUM colour mountain buggy it was only like 5 hundred and something? not bad really That was for the urban though
