Ok So yes Gordon is arrogant, but this Marco Pierre White is a wanker. What an arsehole he is telling people to applogies for him sending out cold food so they can eat in his restrauant. I sure as hell wouldn't want to eat at his restrauant.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

I watched the start of it, to the introductions, and that was enough for me.

i have to say that was the funnist program i have ever seen, one huge ego running people who cannot cook, serving crap and raw food, and clients who are too scared to complain, won't watch again but thought that Marco must not have seen the show before it went to air, he looks like the opposite of what gordon drills into his students

That was absolute crap. Definitely not the same without Gordon and the show in general was quite boring for some reason? I think because they showed all the boring bits that are usually edited out on GR's show?

Marco is the ORIGINAL bad boy chef though. He was Gordons teacher and mentor for many years until they had a very public falling out. He was one of the first chefs to ever get 3 Mitchellin stars for the same restaurant. His book - A Devil in the Kitchen is a fantastic read!!

Besides - it wouldnt make for good TV if he was NICE to people would it!??!!?

I don't mind him being not nice to the people that are competing but to the customers - no way that is not nice what he did. He served raw, undercooked, cold food and expected people to eat it - hell no.

I have heard his book is really good, but he is a wanker.

Yep he is not in this one (who knows he may turn up for one episode, but I doubt it as they HATE each other), so that is why I think it sucks.

Spot the Gordon lover

From what I saw it was the UK version. Did they just have celebrities as the chefs??
I thought He was horrible! Not so much to the cooks, but to the customers!! Isnt the whole point to please the customer.
It doesnt even compare to Gordan Ramsay!!!
