   Hi
Im pretty sure its after delivery. Im RH- and my midwife said they will be monitoring it from now (more blood tests etc) 28 weeks. But they dont need to do anything unless you have a bleed.

within the first 24 or 48 hours after delivery.I am rh- and both my babes are rh+.so i had to have 2. I actually thought u only needed the anti-d first time if rh factors were opposites.maybe they changed it so u have one with every baby? yup,and u get it if u have had major bleeds.

I'm RH- too and my midwife said that it's after the birth and after they test baby, also said that it's not an issue until you have your next bubs. Did anyone else not know their blood type until they were preggy or is it just me? lol

Yep Clare, I had no idea what mine was until I was preggy!
You only get the Anti D jab if baby is Rh+. They send some of the cord blood for testing immediately after birth, and the results don't take long to come back.

BTW, baby can only be RH+ if your DH is RH+. 2 RH- parents will have a Rh- baby.

yeah, i am o- and both my daughters were 0+ so i had to have the jab in my bum after their births, and have a few extra blood tests during pregnancy to check the antibodies.
