Hey Pearl - good luck for your results in the morning...
Tracey - don't listen to any comments from someone who has never been though pregnancy...what would she know (probably just jealous she doesn't have an excuse!).
Well I think the nesting thing is kicking in...I'm only 5 weeks and my husband and I have found the perfect 4 bedroom home to buy today (because a 3 bdrm home would just be too small for our first child!). It's great that my husband is just as excited as me (for baby and house). The house is going for tender on Oct21 so fingers crossed we get it. It's nice to have something else to think about as only one thing has been on my mind recently.
Time for bed...good night all (sweet dreams to some...)

um... feels really surreal being able to talk in here and 'belong' rather than just lurk...
I'm Lisa... I'm 24... DP was told a few weeks ago that his swimmers were in such bad shape that we needed IVF to have our own baby (DS is from prior marriage) so needless to say we are in shock as I got a faint, but def there, bfp this morning...
I am going by ov dates, and they put me due on June 12th... which is so cool... thats my dads birthday, and he passed away just after my 3rd birthday... so i figure it must be his way of saying this one is meant to be...

Good Morning All!!!
Congrats Lisa - Glad you could join us!!!
Well, my husband has demolished the spare bedroom to make way for a nursery. He has ripped off all of the scotia and achitraves and the gib. He plans on lining all the walls with batts and re-gibbing. I don't know what he is more excited about - having a baby or demo-ing the room! (Probably the latter hehehe)
Anyway, hope everyone has a great day!!
Roll on the weekend!
(S'posed to be playing footie tomorrow but I don't know if I'll be able to run with these sore ( . )( . )s....

will def be finding out, need time to buy stuff in bits and pieces.... and DP's mum will want to know what colour to knit for lol... I found out with DS cos I wanted to be able to call him by name rather than 'it' all the time...
Does anyone else have names already figured out for either sex.... or is it just me lol... been trying for so long that I had to find little things to help pass the time...
No symptoms at all so far... bar the odd twinge... not even strong enough to be classed as a 'cramp' lol... yet with DS I had hyperemesis from day dot to just past 16 weeks... hope this is a sign of things to come lol! I work f/time this time so dont have the luxury of staying home chained to the loo this time round

Blood results were not positive, which leaves us devastated and more than a little confused...

Hi Everyone
We started trying last month and after doing two home test on Monday, the doctors confirmed on Tuesday that I'm 4 weeks pregnant!!
I am so happy and didn't think it would happen so soon.
This is my first child and it's due on 9th June
Apart from feeling very tired and a bit spaced out, everything is going well.

Welcome Tanya.
Sorry Pearl, same thing happened to me earlier in the year, symptoms galore, we found out a few days before this pregnancy that it was most likely a very very early miscarriage . The girls in the TTC forum are really amazing for support Take care.
