Topic: To My Angel Posted: 23 September 2008 at 7:19am |
Today I lost you. You were DF's little "boy" and my precious angel, so dearly wanted and loved even at such an early time. My heart is breaking and I lie here crying because I can't understand why this keeps happening to us. The physical pain is bearable, the emotional pain is not. You were so so loved and wanted, I can't believe or start to understand why you have left us.
I just don't understand.

I have a strange TMI question. All of my m/c have been different. This one, I was woken at 4am with indescribable pain and cramps, started bleeding very very heavily at about 6am, passed a large clot at around 8am and since then the bleeding (and cramps) have pretty much stopped. This isn't right is it?

Kate in my experience each time can be different. Another friend of mine who has had several MC says this is true for her too. It does seem like a sudden stop to bleeding and cramps though. When do you next see your doc?

I found with both of mine that once the actual 'pregnancy' as my specialist likes to call it has come out my bleeding was nearly stopped with in an hour or two. This was seen as a good sign as they considered the mc complete and so didn't need a d&c. Depends on if what you passed was just a clot or more than that - I saw mine very clearly. (Sorry TMI I know).
My thoughts are with you, I am so sorry.

Kate,
Life is so unfair, nothing can take away from what you are feeling at the moment.
Take every minute you need and remeber that little one. Did you have a name for him?
I have had 3 mc's and they have all been different, never bleeding, however my last was stillborn and I was similar with the bleeding with Anika.
I gave birth to her the I bled very heavy for about 3 hours passed loads of clots. After I passed the clots it was almost over for me.
What you have experience is what they call a completed mc, however make sure you get checked up to make sure your insides are ok.
Again Kate, I am so sorry for you, I hope you can spend sometime with just you and your thoughts.
Sending you lots of love & wishes for the future
