Well after being in this house for 13 weeks we have been given notice that the owners want to move back in , after stressing to the propery manager when we signed up that it had to be long term as we had just been given notice on the other property after 6 months I am so upset really do not need this stress especially a month before bubs is due

Well that seriously sucks, I feel for you having moved while I was pregnant, but at least we knew where we were going. Good luck I hope you get it all sorted.

Grrr! This is why I hate renting. Poor you. Been there many times and it sucks. I couldn't even begin to imagine moving while pregnant.

Totally serious , spent the morning in tears but have sort of gotton over it my mum brought some banana boxes around this arvo so I will start to pack in hope we find something quickly, the only thing is this time we will probably have to hire movers as I am not lifting a thing! So that is an extra expense grrr plus all the other things like phone/broadband etc! Oh chin up and get on with it! If we could afford to buy we would but can not see that happening for at least another 4 years

Update, property manager is being really helpful and they are going to waive a letting fee is we find something through them have a few possiblities over in Hokowhitu as it is closer for dh work, even though he does have a company vechile but there are times when someone else has to have it, so that would be handier and I work that side of town too so fingers crossed, Just a pain that Braedon will have to change schools, but he changes teacher next term and also prob again next year so lots of changes for him in the next few months so a new school won't hurt.

aww that sucks..moving isn't fun at the best of times let alone during pregnancy. Maybe you will find a house you like even more than this one? Reminds me of when my daughter was born we were renting and on my first night home with her we got a phone call that went something like.."Congratulations on your baby girl..Now we have some bad news for you, we are ready to demolish the house as we are ready to build our new home so we would like you to be out in 3 weeks" !!!! Some people have no feeling for others! We ended up moving after about a week, didn't want to give them any more rent than necessary, but it was awfully stressful packing up and moving with a brand new baby.

If you move over there, please don't put him in Hokowhitu School. If you want more info PM me and I will tell you.

Dont they have to give you three months notice?
I'd be asking for a fixed term tenancy so you dont end up in the same situation again...

To remove tennants they have to give 42 days (which is 6 weeks), I only know this as we have to do this when we move back home.
