I just spoke to my midiwfe and the specialist she works with has agreed to act as cover for my pregnancy. I'm so pleased because if he said no, I would have been stuck with the hospital team. So I get to keep my lovely midwife, and share care with a specialist. It's going to cost me $2000, of which insurance will cover $1000, but it's so worth it .
