Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to tell you all how scary my weekend was when I thought my 1 year old just had a tummy bug.
He started vomiting on Friday morning so I took him to GP at 5pm and I was told that he probably had a 24 hour bug and would be fine soon. By Saturday lunch time he just lay there and did not even smile or anything.
I took him afterhours who rushed him to the hospital. He ended up in the High Dependancy Unit and had needles/tubes in each arm, leg and down his throat.
He is fine now but I just want to warn other parents about this nasty tummy bug that is going around - especially in Christchurch

Wow how scary for you.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!
