I duck season.. Not the hunting time, but the time of year when they come to hang out on our street. We have had a lot of them visit our house every day for the last couple of months and just this week they finally had babies which they have brought with them for their daily feeds.. Unfortunately there were 6 on Monday, which dwindled down to 3 by Wednesday.. but they are soooo cute and a great distraction for Alyssa.. It's gonna be sad when they stop visiting but I suppose we'll see them next year!

Awww so cute!
I get quite upset when I see dead ducks on the side of the road at this time of year. They're not so airborne when they're pregnant.

We have a pond by our house and the paradise ducks and the pukekos eat the ducklings!!! I've seen them both do it :(

But I did see a mummy duck with 5 big ducklings today so her brood lasted quite well

We will have to come and see your duckling 'collection' before they all disappear Pepsi
Isaac is 6, Ethan is 4, Rico is 2 and Hunter is almost 1!
