Jackson had his jabs on Tuesday afternoon. He was upset Tuesday night and had a temperature on Wednesday. Yesterday he seemed mostly ok.

Today he hasn't really wanted to feed and is mucking around big time. He also is really windy - burping and farting heaps. A few minutes ago he did a massive power-chuck on the carpet.

Is it normal for them to be off their food for more than a couple of days? His nappies are still being wet (not as much as normal) and his fontanelle is ok, so I know he is hydrated, but wondering how long I should give it before I start to worry.

The jabs have coincided with Jackson discovering communication, so he is much more interested in popping off and vocalising with me than eating, so not sure exactly if it's the jabs that are a problem or the talking!

ETA: Other than the feeding disinterest, he is pretty happy at the moment. Currently telling his toys a very long-winded and interesting story on his playmat!!

It may be coincidence but if you are worried give your practice nurse a call to check - esp as it is Friday and no-one wants to have to go to afterhours of they can hep it .

The 3 month chatting and being nosy thing is a real pain, but he will probably make up next week by having a growth spurt

I don't know what's normal, but babygoat was very fussy, roared most of the evening, and hardly suckled at all the day of her jabs this weeks, then the next day she fed well but slept almost all day (long naps). Today she is a bit fussy but otherwise ok.

I dont really know cos Caden was never unwell or fussy after his.
But from what i know, they usually just get grumpy and maybe a bit of a temp after their jabs if anything(unless they have bad reaction).

Jackson might just be having a bad day, and it just happens its not long after his 3 month shots. i wouldnt worry unless he has a temp and seems unwell.
