Looking at getting my cousin a baby sling for her baby shower gift, just want to get a feel for whats out there ...brands, websites etc before I go and buy the first one I see

I'm talking about the modern funky ones that can go from newborn up to around 2 years and can be worn diff ways.

Like these - anyone have this brand?

TIA

They look neat aye, i'd definitely go with this option for any future children ...Lucas is far too heavy/tall to go in one now

Dulce & Zoet are on sale for $70ish and bellybeyond.co.nz have them on sale for $65 at the mo.

We use that type for Issy .. although I do like the way that unido you can mix and match the fabric.

I was looking at the unido slings for Maddi, they looked gorgeous! I am sure they were only $65 back then though.

We ended up getting a Dulce and Zoet off Trademe for $30 pretty much brand new.

I have to say I wasnt overly keen on them at first and used the wrap a whole lot more but now shes older its fantastic. And its so handy to just have in my handbag, I use it all the time for all sorts of different things.

I love my Unido sling but I only paid $65 for it (only a few weeks ago ). Not sure I would've paid $80. Zach generally loves being in it and it really makes the school run easier......although if it's a really hot day I'll still drag the pram out or we both end up a bit hot and sweaty.

I notice Unido have some gorgy new fabric patterns too. My one is black and white but I don't think you can get that one anymore.

We had a Dolce & Zoet....I only paid $35 but that was a couple of years ago, have brought a few for friends for $55 from their web site.
Once I knew how to use it properly I loved it!

Check this site out

Has some very funky stuff. I really wished I had done slings but didn't think they would be much use with twins but after seeing this site I realised how wrong I was. In fact I'm still considering it

LOL Lisa, I wish I'd seen the Moby wraps before I had the gremlins, I have one now with lil miss and I would love to have been able to put the gremlins in it, it might have helped with our attachment/bonding difficulties.

I've got a Jazsling (from TM, $35) which is pretty similar to the D & Z but I have to say I'm not in love with it, in fact I think I've used it twice and both times it was a huge mish to get her positioned so we were both comfy. I am totally in love with our Moby tho, and she loves it too. The only downside is that it is quite hot, but I just strip her down and make sure I have on one layer less than usual.
