The book that is! Has anyone else followed the routines in this book and found it helpful?

Yes.  I borrowed a copy from the library last time and intend to read it again before this baby comes.

I used the routines on Michaela who at 10mo still hadn't sleep through the night and was still waking for 2-3 (comfort) feeds every night.  Using the routines combined with advice from friends, family and The Sleep Store (and most importantly doing what I felt comfortable with) my daughter started sleeping through the night every night and was heaps easier to put down to sleep for her day naps and night time sleep.

Yep have just started using it here, am on the 4th day using it now and have gone from being fed to sleep every single time and waking up to 5 times per night to DD going to sleep by herself all the time and she only woke once last night, and all i had to do was rub her back and then she went back to sleep till 7am! i totally reccomend the book.
