Hi everyone! This is my 1st post here (& I'm fairly new to the whole "net" thing too so I hope it actually works?!) Im mum to 2 very energeticlittle boys - aged 2 & 4yrs old. They're great kids (really)... but... at times they can b a real handful & I tend to get rather frazzled! So here I am, hoping to find some other (sometimes frazzled)parents out there for hints, tips and support. Look forward to meeting you guys :)

Thanks all 4 making me feel welcome! A big CONGRATS to those expecting their little bundles too - ur in for some of the very best (although most exhausting) days of ur lives!
How have ur pregnancies been? My 1st was lousy with nausea 24/7 but my 1st was the exact opposite (even carrying differently from front 2 back) even though both boys... the body is an odd thing eh?
Hope you guys have good labours... well about as good as a labour can be! Ny special labour plans or concerns?

Birthing pool sounds like fun - add one o those birthing balls n u've got urself a pool party!
The closest I came was a bath in the maternity ward, but it really helped the labour along on both occasions. Would've been nice to av enuf room to drag the hubby in there with me tho... dunk him under 3 times n only bring him up twice hee hee!

Heya Caterpillar,
Just wanted to say that you'll find plenty of frazzled mothers on here!!! I am one of them, currently neglecting my 18 month old as she runs around the house 1/2 naked, while I try and get some "Mummy time" whinging about her on here
Look forward to hearing stories about terror children!

Hey Nikki, SNAP when it comes 2 the "mummy time" & the 1/2 naked children running around - xactly whats going on here right now hee hee!
Hubbys making himself useful, chasing them aroud the house with their pjs - its quite a sight I shouldnt laugh really , poor guys gettin a bit frazzled himself... all together now: "Aaaawww"
And thanx Deharn n all the other friendly welcoming mums - with kids i find that if u dont laugh you'l surely cry!
Speaking of crying, DHs having no luck dressing n calming down the boys - i think 2nite I may have 3 whinging men 2 deal with instead of 2!!
Cyall later...

Piper is cute isnt she - and so photogenic - both my boys were all cross-eyed n yellow for the 1st couple of weeks - but of course I thought they were the most adorable-looking little things in the world!
All your little ones are beautiful & I look 4wrd 2 getting clucky over pics of all the new bubbas once they arrive...
Now i just gotta work out how to add pics of my own. I found some advice that one of u guys gave in another thread so I'l give that a try... luckily my little bro is an IT Tech so maybe he can work it out 4 me if i get stuck?!

Alan & Bubbles Mummy,
What a cack - I'm also outnumbered by 4 to 1 men in my house n we also have the BIL living with us!! Yes testosterone city - Aaaargh is the word!
At one time we also had the MIL with us so I at least had 1 other female on my side (she wasn't ur run-o-the-mill MIL tho, she was way cool like a good friend), but she got health probs n moved out so she could get some peace! Now I'm the only girl in the house too boo hoo

Yes, looking back MIL n I did have the odd "alpha female" struggle & although she was a huge help, we do get along a lot better now were not around eachother 24/7. Most common territorial issues were in the kitchen (at times she would re-wipe my already clean kitchen benches using the rubbish-bin cloth ).
Sometimes my sister comes to stay n its gr8 for a few days or couple of weeks but I'd go a bit batty if it were much longer.
The guys in our house r usually laid back n easy going so its pretty cruisy most of the time (but the male pms does rear its ugly head once in a while!!)
Ny1 else had any experiences of the dreaded Male PMS??

I know what you mean about the male pms it drives me nutty and to have 2 it can be a bit much sometimes cause BIL is still only 19 so he has teenage momnets as well.
