it was great, they were able to confirm she is infact still a girl which is a relief after all the time Ive put into painting her furniture. Also got to see some really good pictures of her face while they were trying to see if she had a cleft or not, fortunately they are pretty sure she doesnt. One thing I found strange/annoying is we arent offered 3D scans here as far as I know of (CHCH) but the specialist came in and said he wanted to do a 3D scan of her lip cos they thought she did have a cleft for a minute, anyway no one new how to use the 3D probe, only got a couple of shots in 3D. Its frustrating that they have the resources but cant use them and dont offer that service! Also they turned on the heartbeat sound which has never happened before. But they do think that so far she is in the normal size range but will check her growth in another scan in two weeks and we get more results on monday when I go to the obstetrician.

Glad to hear everything is well, and she is "still" a girl I have that fear aswell because if it turns out to be a boy, its going to have LOTS of pink things to wear!!!
