I'm getting some boosters made, just wondering which people find more absorbant? Also Greenbeams only have velour Bamboo left, is this ok?
Also am I right in thinking that both these materials can't be directly next to the skin?

Hemp and bamboo are fine next to skin.

I prefer hemp over bamboo and greenbeans bamboo is not as absorbent as their hemp, so if you are wanting optimum absorbency I'd go with the hemp.

Hemp is a slow absorber, so it is best to team it up with microfibre in front . If you put hemp at the front then the liquid might bead off rather than soak in. Microfibre can't be next to the skin.

Also hemp requires heaps of washing in to reach full capacity.

I'm just going to use them with my prefolds so I can just put the hemp in the middle, He is just wetting so quickly. I'm getting some suede made to asorb the liquid quicker or wick it away, whatever its suppose to do.
