Can't say I've changed my diet because of TTC... I have lost nearly 9.5kg since August last year though purely because I wanted to feel better and I have inherited high cholesterol issues.
After seeing my accupuncturist I switched to Red Bush tea as it's naturally caffeine free, and cut back coffee to one a day because she suggested it was irritating my bladder and bowel and I have noticed a great improvement in those areas.
All things which will probably help my TTC journey (but probably not so much as the op I had last year!!). Everything in moderation I say and do your best to be a healthy person (diet and exercise) as that just helps life in general - after two years doing this I would be totally screwed if I was completely anal about everything suggested as a possible hinderance or help to fertility!!

I've cut back on coffee a bit, dramatically cut back on alcohol!!
Trying not to eat too much "junk" but can't stop eating chocolate lately. Also trying to make sure i eat lots of fruit and vegetables and milk, yoghurt etc. for calcium.
Angiebabe, I drink that Red Bush tea too since I have cut back on coffee - I get the vanilla one and love it!
And folic acid of course.

I'm taking Elevit but it's expensive. When it runs out I'll get some folic acid from the pharmacy or the doctor. But it looks like a multi-vitamin or calcium is good? Is that for the health of a growing baby (to avoid miscarriage) or to help conceive or both?
Does coffee really lower your chances of conceiving or is there a limit you should stick to? I LOVE my coffee - need at LEAST one per day - two is better - otherwise I feel horrible and get headaches :(
If I have to give it up - is decaf ok?

newlywed, folic acid is to help neural-tube development, so the incidence of things like Spina Bifida (and spinal formation in general) is lower.
Nothing can really prevent miscarriage, sadly, but the more vitamins and minerals you take all go towards a healthy pregnancy for both you and baby
Oxy, a balanced diet is a good idea.
I never deprived myself of things I wanted, just made sure it was in moderation.
1 cup of coffee a day, lots of fresh fruit/veg and exercise.
It took us 17 months to conceive Hannah, so I guess it's not an exact science

I stopped smoking, drinking alcohol and coffee. I drink the best damn hot chocolates in the world though.
I'm taking Elevit although if I on't get BFP this time around I will change down to Folic Acid and a Multi Vitamin as Elevit is pretty expensive.
I exercise, eat more fruit and veges but I do still eat naughty stuff.
I'm trying not to go too ovr the top with it. The whole TTC experience is supposed to be exciting so don't want to get too caught up in the whole "be healthy" thing.

I have been taking elevit for the past three months, was still having same amount of coffee - 2-3 per day sometimes 4 a day. I did a major detox earlier this month which involved taking a load of pills and eating veges and salads for 10 days. I hate to say it but I was still smoking, now definately making the effort to give up, smetimes the smell makes me feel sick, not enjoying them and the thought that it could be harming my 'bunch of cells' isn't a nice one.
Edited to change Ten long days not 3

I took folic acid for about the last 4 years 'just in case' lol.
When TTC, I made sure I didn't drink much alcohol, had one cup of coffee per day, cut right back on rasberry leaf tea, took a little VItex and geneally just ate healthily. I'm a pretty strict vegetarian so my diet was pretty good anyway .
It's very easy to go OTT with TTC and I even tried that cough medicine thing one month.... apparently it increases your CM and therefore the chance of spermies getting to your egg. It didn't work for me but the theory seemed ok, and there are websites etc about it if you wanted to read more about it.
Like some of the other ladies have mentioned, don't deprive yourself and try to find something else to focus on rather than just TTC. Easier said than done, I know! The best thing I ever did was join WW online to take my mind of charting and focus it on something else that I could be a little anal about lol. I joined for 3 months, lost about 3 kilos in 6 weeks or less, then fell pg and got a refund on my unused months! I wasn't paticularly overweight, just needed another outlet for my obsession

Eating more fruit and vegies and protein at every meal if i can stomach it for breskfast! usually eggs not keen on meat for breakfast!
Taking fish oil and elevit and drinking lots of water decaf tea and coffee with the ocassional coffee.
Trying not to focus on it too much and still eat chocolate!

Like most others I am taking folic acid, I have stopped drinking coffee (not just to help with TTC but also because I know caffeine is not good for me) my alternative to coffee is chai latte yummy!!
I have also cut back on alcohol (only having a couple of wines CD1 to about CD10) and just trying to eat lots of fruit and veges and not too much junk
I tried elevit but my stomach objected and also the cost was just too much, when I get my BFP I will probably start taking a multi-vitamin as well as the folic acid.

I've just read today that increasing your fibre intake can help if you have PCOS so I'm going to do that!

I haven't changed my diet as such, but when in the TWW I am careful in what I consume, mainly just limiting alcohol (not that I'm a big drinker anyway)
