what did everyone get up to? Lewis made me breakfast in bed, then Jake helped me eat it. And then bought me a foot spa. So I've had a lovely day so far AND he's started the dishes WITHOUT BEING ASKED!

Happy Mothers Day everyone!
I was expecting what I usually get - nothing! Especially when grumpy Willie got up and took Maya to the markets like he does every Sunday. So I sent back to sleep.
Got the fright ofmy life when Maya appeared about an hour later with roses, a card and some chocolates. Seems the old bugger remembered for once! (I haven't had flowers from Willie since I was in hospital after I had her).
So I have to take back every nasty thing I said about him...

Well I got a wee sleep in, then Daniel bought Hannah to me so I could stay in bed! Got breakfast made for me, the dishes done (yay!) and I'm allowed to buy something at the lingerie party I'm having during the week!
Happy Mothers Day everyone!

I got a card and present from Sean and a card and present from Andrew - and Andrew opened them for practise for his big first birthday in a couple of weeks - and then got taken out for breakfast with my mum and MIL I'm feeling very lucky. Of course all of that is over now and hubby has retreated back to bed with his cold and I have the kiddies to entertain.
Best wishes for a happy mother's day to all of you

I got a charm for my necklace from my maman, cute little ballet shoes.
Other than that I have had a grumpy little child who wouldn't have her afternoon sleep. Will have another 'Cup of Tea' training session this afternoon and hopefully next year she can bring one to me in bed. (Do I expect too much?!?!

I got a sleep in, then Kiya brought me breakfast in bed (toast, which was what I wanted) and Nathaniel had made me a hot chocolate. Kiya gave me her present - one of those "gifts that hold my feelings" presents that she'd chosen for me herself. I had a bath with the kids, and Nat dressed Josiah. While JP slept I played Go Fish with Kiya...
Nat made lunch (toasted sandwiches) and he's going to cook dinner too so I'm getting a real lazy day! Nat's "best man" was here, and he's done all the dishes as well! He was going to mow the lawn, but it started to rain lightly so he left to go home to Auckland. Oh well, maybe it will snow!

Happy Mother's Day every one...Looks like you all had a lovely day.
I woke up and watched TV while Papa and daughter slept. Finally when Atish woke he gave me Zaara's pressy....a coffee Mug (A very cute one....I might add) and some chocolates. I had the chocolates and a mug of coffee....When Zaara woke up we went out for breakfast (muffin break) and then went to his mums to wish her and back home for a nap and then to my mums......not too bad except the crappy weather!!!!!

Well, what do you know, it did! Lol... (look in General Chat at "4 degrees")
Last night we had Kiya's favourite dinner - chops, mashed potato and mixed veges (guess who chose the menu!). Nathaniel and Kiya did something really sweet with dinner: they coloured the mashed potato pink, and used cookie cutters as moulds to make it heart-shaped! So there were pink potato hearts on my plate.

I had a lovely 1st mothers day. Got to sleep in until being woken at 9am with a kiss and brekkie (scrambled eggs) waiting in the kitchen. Then we went in to the city to the Lord of the Rings exhibition at te papa and out for lunch, had alovely (windy) walk and then a hot coffee. Jpey was soooo well behaved all day which was great and I just felt lucky to have my two special boys I got a huuuuge bunch of flowers from my best friend too. No pressies or cards from Peter and Joey but that's what I wanted, was a perfect day even without
