I know that there are probably loads of posts but haven't got time to go for a search sorry.
My sister has just sent me her fuzzis and peapods to use now her boys are out of cloth, I haven't got any pockets but was thinking about using them for nighttime. Are either of these good for overnight, between us we have heaps of inserts so I don't want to have to buy anymore if I could be using these freebies!
How many inserts and what type do you use overnight? The only time I have tried doing overnight (about 18 months ago) they leaked, but I think that was mainly cos I wasn't putting enough in.
I want to use cloth for both kids all the time not just days, but am nervous as Leah is a heavy wetter at night, Joel not as heavy but not light either.

I used Fuzzis on Leo overnight from 5-17mths without any problems, but he wasn't a heavy wetter at that stage. I started off just adding a booster and then used a hemp fleece trifold (6layers in total) with a mf insert. By the time he reached 18mths old he was wetting too much for me to stuff the Fuzzi comfortably so we switched to a DB fitted & wool cover.
So really, it's just trial & error! I'd try plenty of hemp or bamboo though, with mf as a top layer (for quick absorbtion).

I have been looking at wool soakers/longies. My mum knits all the time so thought I would get het to make me some. I could just put them over what night nap I use in case of leaks couldn't I?

Yes, definitely! Wool is great and if lanolized it is fantastic for stopping leaks at night

So they are both in cloth tonight. Both in Fuzzis with 2 x hemp or bamboo (not sure which they are) trifolds and 1 3 layer microfibre. This was pretty much all I could get in without the legs really gaping so i'm hoping its enough. I do have a few thin mf inserts I could add, and some thin bamboo ones i could try as well. Will see how we go.

Good luck! 
One way to reduce bulk at night is to add a mf cleaning cloth instead of a mf insert on top. You can buy them in the cleaning isle at the supermarket or in bulk at Mitre 10 or Bunnings. You can trifold them for a really thin mf layer and they're cheaper than buying an insert. I found them useful for adding to hemp or bamboo when you need a quick-soak layer without bulk.
