Topic: Boob deflation after weaning Posted: 07 March 2009 at 12:08pm |
I weaned 2 weeks ago, and have gone from 14F to 14D (pre baby was 12C). Now no bras fit. How long does it take your boobs to "settle" - I don't want to go buy some then have to go back a month later, but I really want a bra or two that actually fit. (And I know everyone is different but it would be good to hear from others).

I'm having the same problem, I've gone from BamBam to Pebbles!
I've always been a nice sized B but went up to a C and now I'm heading for a very small B, closer to an A if I'm honest. I want my bambams back and just quietly I think DH does too

I weaned Brenna gradually so don't remember there being a huge sudden change. I think I stayed a fairly similar size so just went out and bought new bras quite soon.
I hope it doesn't take yours long to settle down

Mine went from a 10D to a 10B
They are looking like deflated balloons dangling from my chest.
In regards to your question, I waited about 5-6 weeks.

LOL Steph - one reason I wanted to delay weaning was to have time to shrink my mummy tummy. When my boobs were big, my tummy didn't look so out of proportion!
I'm quite happy if they stay this size (though does the song "do your boobs hang low" sound familiar ).

ROFL 'do your boobs hang low' - I jokingly sang that last week as I swayed them side to side while i was stooped over - just to show my mum the damage!!!
I soooo hear you on the proportion thing though, that's how I looked at it too. If I can work on the tummy and get it flatter then the size of my girls won't bother me as much!
I'm hoping when I have another child ....one day, they will grow back!

It's been nearly 2 months since I weaned Emily off the boob. At around 5 weeks post-weaning I had my bust measured and was told I was a 10A!! Before I got pregnant with DD I was a 12B, then during pregnancy moved up to a 12C then a 12D when my milk came in and settled to a 12C during the 10 months I breastfed. So not impressed now that they're a measley 10A. Even my sister commented today on my shrinkage!!
