Topic: To those who are currently ttc Posted: 16 March 2009 at 9:46pm |
Are any of you avoiding ttc this month so they don't get a december baby? Or are ya'all just going for gold regardless?
I really don't want a dec baby, but I don't really want to give up a whole month of trying...

We at first had thought we would avoid a dec baby but now are deciding to go full steam ahead lol. mind you if i got pg ths cycle (im 12dpo) my due date would be 26/11 so this could quite easily be a dec baby and if i dont then next cycle may end up being a Jan baby anyways.

Well i have to add that I wasnt going to, mostly cos of if i conceived in March my chinese lunar calendar said it would be a boy, and cos our wedding anniversary, my DHs bday of course xmas is all in Dec.
But because i was preg with a Nov baby and just MC last night, my next OV date will be in April now not March. i think FULL STEAM AHEAD also. Dont want to miss a month either....
And cos i will be a having a Csection i might possibly be able to play around with dates available to a certain degree.............well one can only hope.........but either way i will be due 2 weeks before my EDD cos of the csection........
So CHOO CHOO...........HERE WE ALL COME

I actually never thought of that. I'm skipping this month because I'm on Chinese herbs to try and flush out my system so it looks like I chose the right month to do it!

Full steam ahead for us to becos this month would be a december bubba well could be either Nov/Dec really cos FF says if I conceive this month EDD would be 1 Dec, but I have given up this month, 7/8 days till AF arrives but yeah not getting excited at this stage. So next month would be either a late Dec or early Jan I think????

Well if we have a Dec baby EED is 10/12 & myDS2 b/day is 11/12, I would be very happy to have another Dec baby after trying every month for soooooooo long. But I would have to have another c/sect so would end up poss Nov, oh just want baby, hee hee.
I bet there will be heaps of Dec babies, lol, FX

Yes we have decided to stop ttc for a month because our due date would be 20th Dec- I am more concerned about the potenial decrease in midwives available over the holiday period, and lack of/decrease in hospital services/OB's etc ( cos there is only one regular OB in Gizzy, have to be transferred to Waikato if any problems etc), than I am about baby having a birthday at christmas.

Dec EDD for us would be 31st Dec!!! But I agree with others, I don't want to miss a whole month so am going to keep going anyway!
The EDD is just approximate anyway, if it happened to be NYE, I could quite possibly be 2 weeks late, you never know!
