What does this do to your routine?
What do you do to cope?
 What will bubs do?
 What should I do?
Why is summer over now I am finally able to get out and enjoy it rather than lie on the couch like a beached whale?
PS: You don't have to answer the last question Basically I want to know how to make sure my 0630hrs feed doesn't stay a 0530hrs feed for long.

   Argh good questions.
I suppose its not going to be the same as the animals - I just adjust their feeds by 1/4 hour a day over 4 days.

I was wondering the same thing with my 10 week old this time last year.
I was going to, in the weeks leading up to DLS, adjust her routine slowly, but in the end I just went with the flow and she adjusted really quickly. I just stuck with her routine quite rigidly and within the week she was back on track.
Same thing happened when clocks went forward, 6 months later.

We have never done anything differently for daylight savings, just put Ella down at her normal times for naps and bedtime, and we have never had any problems. |

I can't wait for it to be dark earlier! Won't get the "but the sun hasn't gone to bed" & also C didn't seem to want to go to sleep at night until it was dusk.

I hadn't even thought of this, I'm guessing he will get up early one day and we'll adjust through the day or so.

I'm just going with the flow, but if you want more info, the Sleep Store has an article about daylight savings and sleep that you may find helpful.

We're moving nap times and feed times back (or is it forward - I'm so confused) by 1/4 of an hour every three days starting today.
We've had such problems with sleeping at night that I'd rather give him a gradual change in routine that a sudden shift. He'd probably cope fine with it by the end of next week but I'm not sure that I would!

I was really lucky this time last year as maddy was a really good sleeper I just woke her up later and it was fine.  And with the last change it was light in the mornings so maddy was waking up early anyway. This year though, we have decided just to push her through, though she has decided to wake up an hour earlier on her own.  I think she has the wrong daylight savings change going on.       |

We had the best night since December with Leah....she has been waking screaming most nights since then, a couple of times she hasn't come in until about 4am, but last night she slept all night in her own bed until 6am (new time) and Joel didn't get up until 7am (new time). We put them to bed just after 7pm last night .......they normally go to bed between 6 - 6.30pm so it wasn't that much later but it seemed to work. Am hoping tonight is good as well. |

We try to plan every time, but always end up going cold turkey every time.  Just put girls down later for naps etc.  Don't usually have a problem.  A bit tired for the bigger ones, but I always found the younger they are, the easier to change times. |
