Hi, I'm coming from england to visit my family in nz. There are nieces and nephews ranging from 3 - 7yo. Can anyone recommend any toys from the uk that are not common in nz that i could take as gifts? I was thinking of peppa pig and in the night garden soft toys ... Any ideas appreciated.

I haven't seen peppa pig here. You can get ITNG toys but not the full range. Mainly Iggle Piggle I think.

I would suggest toys with an 'English Flavour' such as Paddington Bear. My sister bought home a double decker london bus that had various shaped holes in it and the shapes to post in the holes.

Books are really expensive here compared to the UK so that may be something to look into . . .

Some things on my wish list for Fay are or have been
Sticklebricks
Aquadraw (can't find anything similar in NZ but Fay loves hers)
Fifi and flowertots stuff, you can get it here in a small selection but Fay loves her dolls we got back last time
Anything from NEXT, Marks and Spencers (including Percy Pig sweets)I just miss those personally
Charlie and Lola, there is some merchandise and books out here but not a great deal
Now I've gone all homesick about this stuff
