Lisa passed away peacefully this morning and is now at rest with her wee angels, Eden and Laine.

Thoughts and prayers for her husband, Ian, and their two wee ones over the next few days and weeks.

No, but a lot of the girls here followed her story after she had Cort and was first diagnosed.

Oh I remember when she had Cort, that name rings a bell but I didnt know she was sick or had more children.
That is so sad, life can be very unfair sometimes. My thoughts are with the family

She didn't have twins - Eden passed away shortly after birth and Laine passed away at 6 months. Lisa was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer when Cort was still in NICU and she has done amazingly to fight it this far. I'm glad her pain and suffering is finally over although i can't even begin to imagine how Ian and the kids must be feeling. I have been in tears all morning since receiving Ian's text.

Emma, will you be going to the funeral? Hopefully I'll be able to make it up depending on when it is.

Cort....he was born very early wasn't he ? an amazing little fighter from what I remember .

Im so sorry to hear of Lisa's passing , I hope it was peaceful in the end , tho you do have to wonder how one family can endure so much .
My sympathies to her husband and their little boy , she sounds like she was an amazing strong woman

That is soo sad!  I remember hearing that she found out she had cancer after having Cort.  I don't know how one family can have soo much heartache.  It's so sad.

He was born at 24 weeks I think (maybe 26weeks)

I followed her story on the treasures website.

She had amazing strength and I hope her friends and family can take solace in the fact that she is with her 2 wee angels again.

I just checked the old thread on treasures to see if there had been any updates as her blog didn't work anymore. I did find a news item about her "bucket list" that the community came together to do for her. She really deserved it.

Such sad news. Their family had been through so many tragedies, it's not fair that she had to leave not long after they got their little miracle Cort

My condolences to her family, especially her husband and 2 kiddies.

I have had the pleasure of meeting this amazing lady, my heart is so heavy sweetheart but you are now no longer in pain and can fly free with your darling wee girls, hugs to Ian, Kita and Cort and I hope you have lots of friends to lean on and may you find peace in the coming weeks as you adjust to life without a precious wife and mummy xxxx

I was so blown away when I received the news this morning from Emma.

One amazing woman who was attacked by the cruelest disease in the world - cancer is truely a bi$ch

RIP Lisa and be at rest with your angels Eden and Laine.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

i was hoping that wasn't the news you were giving us emma!

i was just thinking of lisa and cort the other day and wondering how they were all getting on. did she get her bucketlist done?

i've shed many a tear for this family and am now shedding more........but i take comfort in knowing lisa, eden and laine are together again and i'm betting they are having a real ball of a time!
