Hi Ladies,
Got a call from my doctor today saying my blood tests showed some type of bacteria infection and if not better tommorrow to go see her and she will prescribe antibiotics. Feeling a bit better today. Get hot flushes now and again and still minor tummy ache. Didnt think to ask doctor what it may be caused from. Will have to find out. I will also have to ask how much it cost first. Anyone had this problem??
What Kind of Bacterial Infection? Can you have anibiotics while pregnant? I remember I was on some before pregnant and stopped when I found out I was pregnant (5 weeks) and doc scared me by telling me that it may cause Zaara bone defects....Arrrggg I was sooo mad.
There are only certain types of antibiotics you can have, and it depends on the problem I think, wouldn't have a clue what they are though - I HATE taking antibiotics

I got stuck with mega doses of Augmentin when I was preggers with Andrew - chest infection, kidney infection etc.... He seems to be okay - of course there is that facial tick.... just kidding.
There are some safe antibiotics - just remember to up the yoghurt intake so you don't end up with other nasties like thrush at the same time
Hey Kellie
I just called my doc about Paiges asthma and mentioned your bacterial infection..Also the other infection thing you got that pill thingy for!!
She said Bacterial Infections are very common "down there" in woman and can cause upset tums and general unwell feeling like THRUSH!!( and you dont have to be pregnant to have them). They definitely cannot harm baby and there are antibiotics you can have safely but eat lots of yoghurt to combat that if you do need to take them. Apparently our bodies and skin are covered with bacteria and some just have a party and multiply in certain places!!
Nothing to worry about.
Drink lots of water and fluch the little nasties out!
when I was in hospital and my waters were leaking they put me on antibiotics just to be safe, there would have to be some safe ones cos half of us in the hospital were on them
